Trunk or Treat will be back for its 11th year on Halloween

Posted: Wed, Oct 16, 2019 9:19 AM

For the 11th year, Stone Ridge Community Church is sponsoring Trunk-or-Treat, a Halloween event for the entire community, on Halloween from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the Decorah Fareway parking lot.

Children are invited to trick-or-treat from vehicle to vehicle, and all vehicles and their owners will be dressed in Halloween costumes.

Stone Ridge Community Church member and coordinator of this year's event Mary Marx says, "Trunk-or-Treat is a safe, family-friendly way for children to trick-or-treat. It's a fun way for the church to connect with and serve people in our community.  Stone Ridge is pleased to be able to offer this event each year for young families."

For more information, call Stone Ridge Community Church at 563-382-4825.  Candy donations are welcome, and can be dropped off at the church Tuesday - Friday from 9:30 a.m until 2:00 p.m.
