Lab tests result in second offense OWI charge being filed

A Calmar woman, 37-year-old Rebecca Wangsness, now faces a charge of Second Offense Operating While Under the Influence.
On August 4th, Wangsness was arrested for driving with a suspended license. At that time, evidence was sent to the Iowa DCI Lab for testing. Lab results came back positive for methamphetamine. As a result, an arrest warrant was issued.
Wangsness has been arrested and taken to the Winneshiek County Jail on the OWI charge.
