Accident near Jackson Junction causes $10,000 in damages

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to the scene of an accident on Highway 24 in Jackson Township around 10:00 Friday night.

16-year-old Kylie Colsch of Waukon was driving his truck east on Highway 24 when he lost control, entered the north ditch and hit a cement culvert, which caused his truck to roll over.  No ambulance transport was needed.

Colsch was ticketed for failure to maintain control.
