The Decorah Police Department reports 28-year-old Shea Rea of Decorah was charged with two citations in an accident he caused on Friday afternoon in Decorah.

Rea was northbound on State Street at 5:05 p.m. and attempted to make a left turn onto Day Spring Lane to head west. Meanwhile, 42-year-old Brian Egan of Cresco was in his 2000 Buick Park Avenue which was running, but legally parked behind another legally parked, but unoccupied 2019 Chrysler Pacifica.

Rea's 2002 Ford F350 sustained $2,000 of damage, Egan's 2000 Park Avenue was totaled and had to be towed, and the unoccupied 2019 Chrysler Pacifica sustained $3,500 of damage.

Rea was charged with OWI - 1st offense, and Failure to Maintain Control. No injuries were reported.
