New voting procedures announced for the combined City/School Election November 5th

Voters are reminded of the new procedures for the combined City/School Election that will be held November 5th. Previously voters may have had different polling locations for General, City, and School elections.

Under the new procedures, voters will always vote at the same polling location for the November Election, whether it is a General Election or a combined City/School Election.

All registered voters will be receiving a new voter acknowledgment card this week that will list their polling place for all elections. Voters that do not have a Drivers License or DOT ID card, will receive a Voter ID card instead.

Absentee voting for the November Election is available through the mail or in person at the County Auditor's office during normal business hours (M-F, 8-4). Election Information, Absentee Ballot request forms, and sample ballots are available at www.winneshiekcounty.org.
