Iowa League of Cities recognizes Decorah City Council member Johanna Bergan

Decorah City Council nember Johanna Bergan is one of just 13 city government representatives statewide to be awarded the Certified Elected Municipal Official designation this year.
The Iowa League of Cities issues the certifications to government representatives who take trainings and attend workshops on topics that expand the elected official's knowledge and capabilities. Participation in the program is voluntary.
Said Iowa League of Cities Executive Director Alan Kemp, "This is a significant commitment to local government."
