Two Calmar women have been arrested in Fayette County

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office says two Calmar residents were arrested in Fayette County over the weekend.

Sheriff's Deputies were called to Echo Valley Park in West Union shortly after 4:00 Sunday afternoon.  They arrived on the scene and started an investigation.  As a result of that investigation, 38-year-old Destiny Lynn Chambers of Calmar was arrested on a simple misdemeanor charge of Violation of a No Contact Order.  However, another Calmar woman, 36-year-old Erin Elizabeth Chambers, was also arrested and charged with three simple misdemeanors: Aiding and Abetting a Violation of a No Contact Order, Reckless Driving and Failure to Yield to Emergency Vehicle.

Both women were taken into custody and transported to Fayette County Jail, where they currently await an initial court appearance.
