The City of Decorah will be offering several options for the disposal of leaves this fall

The City of Decorah's Yard Waste Site on Trout Run Road will have extended hours starting Tuesday, October 1st.

The Yard Waste Site will be open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until noon.  There will be a 24-hour area designated for the disposal of leaves on-site at the Decorah Street Department offices at 108 Railroad Avenue starting Tuesday and running through November 15th.

Leaves may also be deposited along the curb of any street/alley starting in October. The City's schedule for curbside leaf pick up is:

•    Wards 1 and 2: October 14th through the 18th and November 4th through the 8th.
•    Ward 3: October 21st through the 25th and November 11th through the 15th.
•    Wards 4 and 5: October 28th through November 1st and November 18th through the 22nd.
