Decorah woman ticketed following traffic accident

Decorah Police say they have issued a ticket to 60-year-old Rebecca Heying of Decorah following a traffic accident Friday afternoon on Division Street.

Police say 88-year-old Mavis Frey of Decorah had slowed to make a left turn into her driveway on Division Street when Heying tried to pass on the left.  Both vehicles collided, causing $2,300 in damages.

No injuries were reported.
