Five Decorah residents have filed papers to run for the three open Decorah School Board seats

Decorah School Board Vice President Ben Lange, Brian Petersburg, and John Hjelle are each up for re-election November 5.

Lange has not filed papers to run, hoping to win re-election via write-in.

On the ballot for election to Decorah School Board on November 5 will be Kerry J. Johnson, Reginald Sampson, Alecia Bucksa, and current members John Hjelle and Brian Petersburg. On election day, voters can vote for no more than two candidates.
