Democratic Party presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg to visit Elkader Monday

Northeast Iowa will have not one but two presidential candidates holding town halls at 1:00 Monday afternoon.

One day following the announcement that Vermont U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders would speak Monday at Luther College,  South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg's campaign announced that he will hold a town hall in Elkader at the same time.

Buttigieg will speak at the Elkader Opera House at 207 North Main Street in Elkader, with doors opening at 1:00 p.m. Monday.  The event is free and open to the public.  However, as with the Sanders event in Decorah, the Buttigieg event in Elkader says you should RSVP to guarantee a seat--visit: https://www.mobilize.us/iowaforpete/event/123906/ to do so.
