A record 47 kids will perform in the cast of this fall's New Minowa Players' performances of "Alice in Wonderland"

The characters of The Queen of Hearts, The Cheshire Cat, and The Mad Hatter are all classics in children's literature. These characters and many more will come to life in New Minowa Players children's show "Alice in Wonderland" being performed at New Minowa Players Theatre in Decorah October 24th through the 27th.

Decorah resident Rick Scheffert has written the show's script with the story line based on Lewis Carroll's novel "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland". Rick is also the director of the show. The song melodies and lyrics were written by Sheryl Scheffert.

Performances will be at 7:00 p.m. October 24th, 25th and 26th and at 2:00 p.m. October 27th. Tickets are on sale at Oneota Community Food Co-op and online at www.newminowaplayers.org. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door for each performance starting one hour before performance time.
