July was a good month financially for Winneshiek Medical Center

Winneshiek Medical Center had a good financial performance in July for the first month since March.

Both inpatient and outpatient revenues improved significantly over June and were more than ten percent higher than revenues in July of 2018.

The medical center had net patient revenues of $5.4 million, which was a 13 percent increase from July of 2018.  Net patient revenues are revenue which remains after taking deductions for bad debts, contractual allowances and charity care.

July's gain from operations at the medical center was $70,951.  When non-operating revenues were added, WMC had a net gain of $166,462.
