Work is underway on the Decorah Public Library

The Decorah City Council has awarded five additional contracts for work at the Decorah Public Library.

The projects involving the membrane roofing system, gutters, sealants, concrete repairs and installation of a new south door total roughly $125,000.

The five contractors selected for the work will attend a preconstruction meeting on Monday.

Meanwhile, tuckpointing work on the building, awarded in a previous contract, is underway.
