Luther College recognized as a top institution for sustainability

Iju Regmi, Thawdar Zin, Jane Clare, Toby Cain and Bishal Parajuli worked to harvest food from the gardens to use in the Luther cafeteria.

Luther College has received a STARS Gold rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. AASHE also has ranked Luther in the top ten baccalaureate institutions in the U.S. in their "2019 Sustainable Campus Index" report.

Luther is being recognized for its Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program; its goal to be carbon neutral by 2030, and even its efforts involving affordability, pay equity, diversity and accessibility. More information and links to these reports can be found at luther.edu/headlines.
