Proposed second Kwik Star will ask for variances Wednesday afternoon

Developers of a proposed second Kwik Star convenience store in Decorah will go before the city's Board of Adjustment at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall.

The company needs approval for three minor changes to zoning regulations before it can start construction, including a slight reduction in the number of parking spaces.

Plans call for construction of the new building next year.
