TOP STORY: Brian Fullhart has been sentenced to life in prison

District Court Judge Linda Fangman on Wednesday morning sentenced Brian Fullhart to life in prison in connection with the death of his wife, Zoe Fullhart.

Last month a Howard County jury found Brian Fullhart guilty of first degree murder.  Judge Fangman ordered a presentence investigation.  On Wednesday morning, she sentenced Fullhart to life in prison without eligibility of parole.

In addition, the judge ordered that Brian Fullhart should pay $150,000 in damages to the family of Zoe Fullhart.  Brian Fullhart will be ordered to pay off that amount through a Department of Corrections plan.

Fullhart will now be taken to Oakdale, Iowa.
