Decorah man arrested for OWI

Monday afternoon shortly before 4:30, 65-year-old Randy Erion of Decorah was northbound on Old Stage Road at the intersection of River Road when he drifted off the roadway. Erion crashed through a wooden stop sign and struck a guardrail.  Erion left the scene and was located a short time later. 

No ambulance transport was needed. Erion was arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail for operating while under the influence.
