29-year-old Richard Dale Ogle faces charges of attempted murder, attempting to elude, going armed with intent, two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, domestic abuse assault, carrying weapons, possessing dangerous weapons while under the influence, and operating while under the influence.

All charges are a result of a March 16th incident when Cresco Police were called to a home in Cresco for a possible domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Ogle was holding a gun to his girlfriend's head. Ogle fled the scene and led police on a high speed chase while allegedly firing shots at pursuing officers.

Ogle was due in Howard County District Court Monday for "further proceedings," but the judge in the case has postponed that hearing until October 21st.
