Cedar Rapids man arrested for Motor Vehicle Theft

The Decorah Police Department reports a Cedar Rapids man was arrested for theft that happened last Monday.

The Decorah Police Department took a report of a stolen vehicle from Kelly Real Estate Company on Monday, August 5th. The Police developed a suspect from video footage obtained from several businesses. On Sunday evening, Decorah Police were dispatched to a disturbance at Bluegrass Apartment where they found the suspect from the motor vehicle theft was involved in the disturbance. As a result, 52-year-old Jeffery Dighton of Cedar Rapids was placed under arrest for Motor Vehicle Theft and transported to jail.
