A Waterloo-based company is in the process of opening a branch office in Decorah.
Homelink arranges for the delivery and set up of homecare services and equipment on behalf of group health and workers compensation insurance companies nationwide. The company has a total of 550 employees. Its employees contact home health agencies, physical therapists, homecare equipment providers and others to deliver services in the homes of patients. Homelink works with over 50,000 credentialed, community-based providers giving services to more than 30 million people.
Homelink president Dave Kazynski, an Ossian native, tells decorahnews.com, "We currently are growing at about 20 percent annually, due to our reputation for providing exceptional service." Kazynski says his company wants to "expand our base" by opening an office on the entire second floor of the BNP Paribas building on Water Street in downtown Decorah.
"We are looking to hire up to 50 people over the next three years," says Kazynski. His company is in the process of organizing a job fair to be held late in August or early in September at 120 West Water Street, Suite 201. Homelink's parent company, The VGM Group, Inc., has been ranked the #1 large employer in Iowa to work for in surveys done by the Des Moines Register in 2015 and 2017 and is rumored to be one of the top employers in the soon-to-be-released 2019 survey.
Kazynski says starting pay for the employees will be between $12/hour and $13/hour, with opportunities for raises. Many employees work from home and commute to the Homelink office once a week or every other week. That means many employees live up to 40 or 50 miles from the Homelink office.
