Parking lot pavings will be discussed Monday by county supervisors

Should the parking lots at the Winneshiek County Courthouse and the Smith Building get repaved?

County Maintenance Superintendent John Halverson and County Road Department Tech Mike Weis will meet with members of the Winneshiek County Board at 10:00 Monday morning to discuss that question.

Contractors are proposing to use a microseal on the parking lots at the two buildings. The microseal would use a fine rock aggregate with a light oil on top that would form a parking surface.

County supervisors will gather in the Courthouse Annex Monday morning to review estimates for the projects.
