A Howard County jury of seven men and five women has found Brian Fullhart guilty of the charge of first degree murder in the March 1, 2018 death of his wife, Decorah native Zoanne Fullhart.
The jury deliberated for slightly more than one and a half hours Thursday afternoon before returning its verdict. Fullhart stood motionless as Judge Linda Fangman read the verdict.
Fullhart will be sentenced at a date to be determined. Bond in the case has been revoked and he will remain in custody. Fullhart has 45 days in which to file an appeal of the verdict, if he wishes.
