Vesterheim Museum's "Norwegian-American Folk Art Exhibition" will close Saturday. The annual exhibit is a collection of contemporary folk art and has been organized and hosted at Vesterheim for over 50 years. The exhibition features woodwork, knifemaking, metalwork, rosemaling, and weaving, and includes stories from the artists about their pieces.
Artists submit work for evaluation earlier in the year and ribbon winners will be announced Thursday in the museum gallery.
