Ben Gardner joins the decorahnews.com staff

Decorah native Ben Gardner has joined the staff of decorahnews.com.

Ben is the son of Paul Gardner and Wanda Gardner.  He received his B.A. in Philosophy from Luther College in 2012. After college, he received another type of education at Java John's, where he worked until 2017.

Prior to joining decorahnews.com, Ben was employed as the Head Baker of Waving Grains Co-op Bakery.

In his spare time, Ben enjoys baking and cooking, running, reading and writing, and good conversation. Ben is looking forward to getting paid to write sentences and is eager to document the variety of goings-on in the community!
