Fullhart murder trial resumes Monday

Monday with be Day Four of the Brian Fullhart murder trial in Cresco.

Fullhart is charged with first degree murder in the death of his wife, Zoie Fullhart, on March 1st of 2018.

Prosecutors are still presenting evidence in the case. On Friday they presented nearly two-and-a-half hours of video recorded at the Cresco Police station after Fulllhart was arrested.

One segment of the video captures Brian saying, "I shot her in the head." After talking a little bit about the standoff with police which followed, Brian again returned to Zoie's shooting, saying, "I'm a murderer now. I shot my wife, my best friend, the person I loved more than anyone on this planet."

The trial will continue at 10:00 Monday morning in Cresco with additional witnesses for the prosecution. It's possible the defense could begin calling witnesses Monday afternoon.
