The trial of a Decorah woman accused of engaging in sexual contact with an 18-year-old student in the Howard-Winneshiek School District is being affected by the Brian Fullhart murder trial.
29-year-old Tiffany Ranweiler-Oblander, a former teacher in the Howard-Winneshiek School District, is accused of having sex with an 18-year-old male student a total of four times between March and April of 2018 at the student's home in Lime Springs, according to court records.
A pretrial hearing for Ranweiler-Oblander had been scheduled for Monday morning in Howard County Court. That hearing has now been postponed until July 29th because the Howard County Attorney is one of the prosecutors in the Brian Fullhart murder trial, which resumes Monday in Cresco.
