Cresco man drives into a back yard in Decorah

A Cresco man, 35-year-old Brandon Henry, was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with Operating While Under the Influence, Speeding, and Failure to Maintain Control.

Henry was driving south on College Drive around 1:00 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and jumped the curb, driving over a tree, striking the fence and swing set in the back yard of a home. The vehicle then crossed Sunset Drive and downed a tree at another home and rolled onto its top.

The incident was jointly investigated and charged by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office and the Decorah Police Department.
