It's almost time for Vacation Bible School in Decorah

Local churches are gearing up to launch 2 different Vacation Bible School programs in Decorah .

First Lutheran Church is hosting "Power Up" for children 4-years-old through 5th grade. A family kick-off event will be held at the church on Sunday, July 21st, at 6:30 p.m. Daily VBS will be held Monday, July 22nd through Thursday, July 25th at the church from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. each day. Parents are invited to attend the closing program at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24th.

"Power Up" is open to children 4 years old through 5th grade. The cost is $25 for the first student in each family and $10 for each additional student. The 18th Annual Community Vacation Bible Camp sponsored by St. Benedict's, Stone Ridge, Decorah Covenant and Washington Prairie Church will start Monday, August 5th at Stone Ridge Church. This year's program is called "Roar! Life is Wild * God is Good!"

"Roar" will run from 9:00 a.m. until noon, Monday, August 5th through Friday, August 9th at Stone Ridge Community Church in Decorah. "Roar" is open to children 4 years old through 5th grade.
