Cresco man arrested after driving in the opposing lane of traffic on Highway 9

Driving on Highway 9 in Decorah going the opposite way of the lane of traffic is something that will get you noticed.

The Decorah Police Department says one of its officers stopped a Cresco man shortly after 1:30 Thursday morning for doing just that.  46-year-old Gary Wayne Van Wey was then arrested for First Offense Operating While Intoxicated.  Van Wey was booked into the Winneshiek County Jail.
