Plans announced to recognize Dennis and Paula Olejniczak

Decorah high school baseball alumni and their families are being invited to celebrate the contributions of Dennis and Paula Olejniczak to the Viking baseball program at a ceremony Friday, June 28th, when Decorah hosts Oelwein at Olejniczak Field.  The junior varsity game will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by the varsity game beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Dennis Olejnczak retired last August after serving as the Vikings' head baseball coach for 55 seasons.

Dennis and Paula are planning to be at the ballpark by 5:00 p.m.  Alumni, their families and supporters are invited to visit with the Olejniczaks prior to the varsity game. They will be recognized in a ceremony at approximately 6:30 p.m. that will be held following the junior varsity baseball game.  

Following the varsity game, supporters are invited to a social, which will be held at Good Times, located on College Drive in the Pyramid Plaza.
