Iowa Ag Secretary praises accomplishments of President Trump

When President Donald Trump visited Iowa earlier this week, Iowa Agriculture Secretary Mike Naig took part in the event.

Visiting Decorah on Thursday, Naig praised the president for lifting restrictions on the sale of ethanol.  The executive order now means E-15 ethanol can be sold year-round.

Naig also praised the president for the USMCA, the successor to NAFTA, which eliminates tariffs between the U.S., Canada and Mexico.  The agreement "is good for America," Naig told the group at Mabe's Pizza.  Naig says having zero tariffs is good for everyone.

However, Naig was not as positive about the status of trade talks with China, saying the talks about tariffs seem to have stalled.
