Master Gardeners plant trees at Vennehjem

Master Gardener volunteers have planted trees on the Vennehjem campus in memory of Vennehjem community members.

With the support of Aase Haugen Senior Services the Vennehjem Community Council purchased twelve trees and, with the help of Robin Sailor and the Master Gardeners, planted them in memoriam of Wayne Timmerman, Naomi Winter, Keith Mardock, Ronald Fretheim, Philip Pape, Kenny Johnson, Harvey Hillesland, Robert Usgaard, Neva Maye Viise, Thomas Kraabel, Kathryn (Kay) Spilde and Lyle DeBower.  A private memorial celebration will be held for the families on Friday.
