PHOTOS OF THE DAY: There's a "garden" on Water Street

Viking State Bank's construction zone now has a bright, colorful "garden."

Arthaus recently taught youth and adults, including kids from Northeast Iowa Montessori's E1 classroom, how to crochet flowers, leaves and stems.  Now their work has been attached the fence surrounding the construction site.  The result is a "roadside beautification" project—or maybe a "sidewalk beautification" project.
