DHS Students Compete at State Special Olympics

Three Decorah High School students traveled to Ames at the end of last week to compete in the State Special Olympics with athletes across the state of Iowa.  

Timothy Bean placed 2nd in shotput, Abby Dietz placed 1st in shotput and 3rd in 100 meter dash, and Zoe Sikkink placed 2nd in shotput.  These students qualified for State by earning first place ribbons at the area event at the UNI-Dome in March earlier this year.
