West end of Dug Road Trail has been temporarily closed

The Decorah Park-Rec Department has closed the west end of Dug Road to through traffic.  Following the rain which fell over the past weekend, Park-Rec staffers noticed some movement along the trail where it was repaired two years ago.  

That led Park-Rec to fence off the west end of the trail.  The trail will be monitored for the next few days.  If it appears the trail needs to stay closed over the Memorial Day weekend, a detour will be created, with signage.
