Another sidewalk battle could be brewing in Decorah

The City of Decorah has begun rolling out plans for another sidewalk project in the community.  The previous project affected the Bruening Addition and generated opposition from property owners there.

Now the city has mailed notices to property owners on Linden Street that the city plans to install sidewalks on all of Linden Street.

One public input session was held at City Hall last Thursday night and another has been scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The letter to property owners says the city "very much seeks your input to aid in the design of concepts that are most efficient and practical."
