Another Presidential candidate is coming to Decorah

U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar is heading to Winneshiek County over the Memorial Day weekend.

A Decorah Meet & Greet will be held at The Lingonberry at 218 West Water Street from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25th.

Klobuchar is a U.S. Senator from neighboring Minnesota who is one of a large field of Democratic candidates for President (23 of them, to be exact).

Klobuchar is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Chicago Law School, according to Wikipedia. She was a partner at two Minneapolis law firms before being elected county attorney for Hennepin County in 1998, making her responsible for all criminal prosecution in Minnesota's most populous county. Klobuchar was first elected to the Senate in 2006, becoming Minnesota's first elected female United States Senator, and reelected in 2012 and 2018.
