Viking State Bank is getting ready to move into its new building in downtown Decorah

Construction crews this week have been tearing down the drive-through portion of the former building which housed Viking State Bank.  The work constitutes the second phase of the project to create a new facility for the bank.

The first phase of that construction project is finished, with the bank planning an official opening of its new building next weekend.

In the meantime, "sidewalk superintendents" have had another Decorah construction project to watch.
