Winneshiek Saddle Club has new officers

The Winneshiek Saddle Club has elected new officers.

Dixie Hutchinson has been elected president of the club, Gary Frana is the vice president, Halley Wise is the secretary, Marilyn Beard treasurer and Barb Kellogg is the historian.  Additional board members are Edna Jacobson, Dale Green and Fritz Massman.

The Winneshiek Saddle Club was established in 1932 to promote horse related activities throughout Winneshiek County.  The club is one of the oldest, continuous organizations in Winneshiek County.  Numerous county and state organizations have received donations from the club throughout the years, including Camp Sunny Side(Pony Express), Winn. County Hospital and the American Cancer Society.

Members receive monthly newsletters with schedules for trail rides, horse shows, and other horse related activities held throughout the year.  Membership is $10 for singles and $15 for families.
