Letter to the Editor: "I note what the Bible says (about prayer)"

"I see from your reporting that there will be two choices for citizens who wish to participate in public displays of prayer. Competing prayer events, so to speak. In this regard I note that the Bible says, (Matthew 6, Verse 5) "And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and the street corners, that they may be seen by men. Truly, I say unto you, they have their reward. But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you."
