Letter to the Editor: Spread the word—oppose new dog swim guidelines

(The following Letter to the Editor has been submitted by the Randy Haugen family):

"We have always enjoyed the yearly Dog Swims that Decorah Parks is nice enough to do at the end of each season for the past years that they have hosted the event.  Other cities have them also and we have never witnessed any issues that were serious enough to cause any health issues.

We urge people who go to this event to contact the Iowa Department of Public Health and air our concerns.  If you enjoy the Decorah Dog Swim, spread the word please!
