Neste Valley Recreational Area will benefit from a "Paint Iowa Beautiful" grant

Winneshiek County Conservation has received a Paint Iowa Beautiful Grant

Keep Iowa Beautiful and Diamond Vogel Paint have presented Winneshiek County Conservation with an award of nine gallons of Diamond Vogel paint to be used to paint the historic farmstead outbuildings at Neste Valley Recreational Area.  

Neste Valley Recreation Area was purchased by Winneshiek County Conservation to create a multi-purpose recreation area. At this time, the park is not yet open to the public as the unimproved driveway poses a safety risk for public use. Winneshiek County Conservation is actively working to improve the driveway and prepare the park for public use.
