Fort Atkinson resident arrested on OWI charge

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says its deputies have arrested a Fort Atkinson man on a charge of Operating While under the Influence.

68-year-old Jerome Hayek of Fort Atkinson was arrested around 4:30 Thursday afternoon after being stopped on Highway 52 in Military Township. He was arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail for operating while under the influence.
