Bad weather impacts Decorah & North Winneshiek School Districts

Just when school bus transportation routes had returned to normal, another winter storm has forced changes again.

The North Winneshiek School District and Decorah School District have announced some of their school bus routes will operate only on hard surface roads until road conditions improve.  The Decorah school bus routes affected are bus numbers 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 18, 20, and 21.

The winter storms have also changed the academic calendar for Decorah.  The last week of school in Decorah will now be June 7th.  Due to the 1:30 dismissal on Friday, June 7th, there will NOT be a late start on Wednesday, June 5th, so classes will begin at 8:00 a.m.
