The Minnesota State Patrol says a Decorah woman was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Mabel on Sunday afternoon.
54-year-old Doreen Dahl was headed south on Highway 43 shortly after noon Sunday and had stopped at the intersection with Highway 44. Dahl did not notice a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Tristan Brainard approaching from the west. She pulled into the intersection, striking the trailer Brainard was pulling. The collision caused the trailer to rotate counter-clockwise, knocking over a stop sign and overhead light pole.
Dahl suffered possible injuries, but did not need an ambulance. Tollefsrud was not injured, nor was a passenger in Dahl's vehicle. There was a light rain falling at the time of the crash.
