Decorah Public Library is celebrating National Library Week this week

The Decorah Public Library is celebrating National Library Week Monday through Saturday this week.
The observance will include a week long fine amnesty--bring overdue items to the front desk of the library, let a staff member know that they are overdue, and all fines for those items will be removed.
Events taking place during the week include Toddle Time and Yoga Storytime for kids; a program about the lives of Victorian women with historian Kathy Wilson; a happy hour book discussion about "The Overstory" by National Book Award winner Richard Powers, and an Iowa Legal Aid tax assistance workshop. All events are free and open to the public.
