Luther Book Shop turns Wartburg orange

Luther College students would have been excused for doing a double take on Monday while walking past the Luther Book Shop.

Book Shop Director Deanna Casterton and the bookstore director at Wartburg are friends.  The two decided to trade merchandise for an April Fool's prank.

As a result, the Luther Book Shop on Monday was displaying clothing in Wartburg orange, saying on Facebook, "Is orange the new blue?  We love our Norse, no fooling!"

Meanwhile, in Waverly, the Wartburg bookstore displayed Luther gear, saying on Facebook, "We decided the Wartburg Store needed more blue to show off.  Instead of beating Luther, we want to BE Luther."
