Chris Storlie named CEO of Deco Products Company

Deco Products Company has named Chris Storlie as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Storlie has been General Manager at Deco for almost nine years. Said Deco owner Jamie Henderson, "The change in title to CEO more accurately reflects the strategic planning and vision for long-range success that Chris has provided for Deco over many years." Fellow owner Steve Charles said Storlie "has been responsible for significant improvements in our business. This has maintained Deco as one of the largest and most successful zinc die casters in the United States."
Storlie has worked for Deco Products for 25 years and was Assistant General Manager for 14 years. For the past three years, he has served on the Board of Governors of the North American Die Casting Association, the industry's national trade association. He is a 1980 graduate of Spring Grove High School, a 1983 graduate of Luther College and received a 1988 Masters degree studying plasma physics at UW-Madison. He has been an active teacher and lay leader at Decorah Lutheran Church.
Deco's team of over 200 employees is led by an executive team of CEO Chris Storlie, CFO Kent Kleckner, Operations Manager Randy Tangen, Director of Sales Dave Magner, Engineering Manager Mike Murphy, Materials Manager Doug Hamilton and HR Manager Barb Breza.
Deco was founded in Decorah in 1960. It is owned by three extended families, currently in their third and fourth generations. "Our ongoing accomplishments are founded on our fine employees and our commitment to continued family ownership" stated owner Andy Charles.
