The Iowa State Patrol says an accident involving a car and a semi on Highway 24 between Calmar and Fort Atkinson on Wednesday morning injured three people.
The Iowa State Patrol says around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday 62-year-old Mary Hegg of Decorah was driving north on Highway 24 when she crossed the center line of the highway and collided with a semi driven by 61-year-old David Fadness of Decorah.
Mary Hegg was taken by helicopter to Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse; 63-year-old John Hegg was taken to the Winneshiek Medical Center; and a minor child, whose name was not released, was treated at an area hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
